Welcome to Salud Entre Culturas
We offer holistic care to immigrants who find themselves in a situation of vulnerability when it comes to accessing the health system and public health programs.
We are part of the Association for the Study of Infectious Diseases (AEEI), a non-profit organization integrated by doctors from the Infectious Diseases Service of the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid.
We participated in large-scale screening for Chagas disease, a “silent” pathology that affects more than 40,000 Latino Americans in Spain who are not aware that they suffer from it.
Our team of translators and interpreters provides face-to-face interpretations to connect non-Spanish speaking foreigners with doctors and health care professionals.
We organize workshops with immigrants to provide them with information on the diagnosis and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and other infectious pathologies, as well as the use of the Spanish health system.
If your patient does not speak Spanish, you can request an interpreter from Salud Entre Culturas for your next medical appointment at the Hospital Ramón y Cajal in Madrid.
You can also request an appointment for the Intercultural Interpretation and Mediation Service (SIMI) from Salud Entre Culturas by calling our mobile phone.
